Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Burmax Energy is committed to making burmaxenergy.com accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they browse with. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have built in

• Keyboard navigation. Every link, button and menu is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline, and a “skip to content” link at the top of each page
• Screen readers. Semantic headings and landmarks, a labelled main region, descriptive alt text on photographs, and accessible names on icon-only controls such as the mobile menu button
• Reduced motion. If your device requests reduced motion, animations and scroll effects are switched off rather than merely shortened
• Touch targets. Interactive controls are sized for comfortable tapping, and hover-only effects are disabled on touch devices so nothing becomes stuck
• Without JavaScript. Content that normally animates into view is shown immediately if scripts do not run
• Responsive text. Layouts reflow down to small screens without horizontal scrolling, and text can be zoomed

Known limitations

We test with keyboard navigation and automated checks, but we have not completed a formal third-party audit. Areas we are still improving:

• Some photographs carry brief alt text that describes the subject rather than every detail in the image
• Content on linked third-party sites — such as our Yelp listing, Facebook page and Google Maps — is outside our control and may not meet the same standard
